The person behind the course
Hey. I'm Conner Volpe. I'm a husband, a dad, an AWS sales executive, and a business co-owner. I'm not a programmer, and I've learned all of this by trying to see what works.
About a year ago, I couldn't have told you the difference between Claude and ChatGPT. I'd heard the buzz. I'd seen the headlines. But every time I tried to learn about AI, the content felt like it was written for software engineers โ not for someone like me, trying to manage a full schedule, build a business, and still actually be present at home.
Once that clicked, I didn't stop. I started testing every tool I could find. I brought them into my work, into meetings, into research, into writing, into planning. I brought them into my home life. And over time, I built a set of habits and prompts that genuinely changed how I operate day to day.
I kept showing people these tools. Colleagues, family members, friends. And every single time, the reaction was the same: "This is incredible. Why doesn't anyone teach it like this?"
That's the thing. Most AI education assumes you either already know a lot, or it's so surface-level it doesn't actually help you do anything. There's almost nothing in the middle - practical, clear, built for regular people with real lives and limited time.
AI for Actual Life is what I wish had existed when I started. No jargon. No tech background required. No courses that take forever and leave you more confused than when you started. Just the stuff that actually works, taught in a way that makes sense.
The credibility I bring to this isn't a computer science degree. It's the fact that I've actually integrated these tools into a full, busy life and figured out what works and what doesn't. I built these courses so you can skip the part where I wasted time on the stuff that didn't matter.
